Taking inspiration from Downtown Los Angeles, the community this brand calls home and its place within the broader scope of the world at large, this Vans Collection uses a muted color palette, heavy textures at the side-stripes, and a see-through sidewall print for a modern look that reflects the Rokit lifestyle.

Along with neighborhood messages hidden in plain sight—a welcoming of those who know and an introduction to those who don’t of the brands DNA. Details on both the footwear and apparel explain the story of the brand and its roots in Downtown Los Angeles.

ROKIT: “Inspired by a unique marriage of skateboarding and street basketball subcultures framed in a contemporary aesthetic, Rokit is an homage to champions born of pavement and blacktop. Although they seem to be two drastically different worlds, many who grew up in the skateboarding culture understand the diversity of individuals involved, the culture being a melting pot of backgrounds brought together by the love of the sport. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that those who step off a deck would then step onto the court, and vice versa.”
